Mechanical Engineering Department, established in 2003 with a meagre 60 seats. Mechanical Engineering Department is one of the oldest and biggest departments of the institute with the student strength of about 720 and faculty strength of 40.
The Department currently offers Under Graduate program B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. Department has well-balanced Faculty with sound academic and industrial experience & well-equipped laboratory expose students to correlate theoretical concept in the practical work.
Center of Excellence was established in 2018 in collaboration with CADD Centre to promote high-quality education by providing state-of-the-art and emerging technologies in the academy as well as industry with the objective of nurturing highly engineering professionals. The department is always motivating students to participate in the various technical/social activities held inside/outside the institute to develop their dynamic personality and leadership quality.
Moonriders (Est. 2009): Moonriders is a student club in which students work on the automobiles, takes part in a different national level competition. Our students have performed excellently at National level and State level competitions like Jaipur Street karting Cup, IKC Kolhapur.
