WORKSHOP ON ELECTRIC VEHICLE BY BABA AUTOMOBILES



  1. Date of the event:27.04.2021 to 01.05.2021.
  2. Venue:Online through zoom.
  3. Resource Person/ Organization : Mr. Nimesh Baba from BABA AUTOMOBILES PVT. LTD. JAIPUR.
  4. Outcome:EVs are not limited to, road and rail vehicles, surface and underwater vessels, electric aircraft and electric spacecraft. This workshop helped students in getting practical knowledge about EV virtually.

WORKSHOP ON SOLID WORKS & ANSYS WORKBENCH

  3. Resource Person/ Organization : CADEMATE Training and Technical Services Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur.
  4. Outcome:Students were able to do hands on practice during the workshop due to which it was very much engaging & interactive session this workshop helped students to get a deep knowledge & also to do it practically.

Conference [RESSD-2016]

    • To provide an exceptional platform to the academicians, researchers and students.
    • To focus on the recent technological developments in all the areas of renewable energy sources and sustainable development.
    • To meet and discuss the practical solutions, scientific results and methods in solving various problems with people who are actively involved in emerging research fields.
  4. Outcome:
    • Students and research scholars were made aware about the recent trends in the field of renewable energy..
    • Students knew about the benefits of such conferences so that they may get an insight into the field of research which is an essential factor for the advancement of their career.

Faculty Development Programme

  1. Date of the event:7-11thNovember 2016.
  2. Venue:JECRC
  3. Objective/s:The changing economics of production and distribution, along with shifts in consumer demand and the emergence of smart products, are pushing manufacturers to explore radically new ways of creating and capturing value. Emergence of new materials has resulted in new manufacturing techniques being used in the industry. The main aim of the program was to expose the participants to advanced manufacturing technologies including hybrid machining and additive manufacturing.
  4. Outcome:Faculty members gained extensively details of new materials, manufacturing technologies, manufacturing processes, hybrid machining, additive manufacturing knowledge along with practical knowledge. Case studies and practical examples enriched faculty members concepts on above topics and that will help faculty members to conduct lab in institution. The advanced manufacturing technologies and manufacturing processes also benefited faculty members for upgrading the knowledge of students, so that they can easily interact with industry and make a strong bond between institution and industry.
RENAISSANCE 2018

EMBRYO

Objective/s:This Embryo aimed to tap the minds of budding mechanical engineers. In this regard, we had enclosed the poster of the Embryo. The events like paper presentation in the symposium helped students to think and come up with innovative ideas, also enhanced the on stage skills of the students. It also challenged the students ability apart from academic proficiency, helps in bringing out professionalism and volunteering traits from the individuals.

REVERSE ENGINEERING

Objective/s:“Do you think... You know everything about Automobile Engine”, with this tag line we organized an event that requires in depth knowledge about various components involved in the assembly of an Automobile Engine. The participants disassembled and assembled the automobile engines in this event.

CADD MANIA

Objective/s:This event was organized to examine the soft skills of students. In this event participant were challenged to design 3-D object on AutoCAD

MIGHTY THOTTLE

Objective/s:This event was organized for RC Car racers. The participants were instructed to build a Remote Controlled IC engine powered car to traverse a race track in the minimum possible time. The time track was composed of several turns with increasing difficulty levels.

FORK LIFTER

Objective/s:This event was about building a crane using wooden material suitable enough to place the given weights on a platform using only hydraulic mechanism. The participants showed their knowledge related to the field of linkage and hydraulic systems mechanism.

PROPELLO

Objective/s:Propello was the event of making propulsion device with the use of compressed air. The participants were instructed to design and fabricate their own propulsion rocket powered with the help of pressurised water. Judging was done on the basis of time of flight, distance of path covered and trajectory of the device.

R-MECH OLYMPIAD

Objective/s:This event was organized for JECRC students only. It was organized to test engineering aptitude for the Mechanical Engineering students.

BRAIN QUEST

Objective/s:This event was organized to test of knowledge, exclusively in Mechanical Engineering discipline as a competition between Individuals and Teams as a form of awareness.

I V SHOW

Objective/s:IVSHOW had the main motto to read the speed of Engineers mind. In this regard, we had enclosed the Innovative video competition which named as IVSHOW. This event gave the platform to the students to show their hidden talent with engineering innovative videos collection and motivates the rest of the students to think to be innovative.

ANSYS Training Programme

Objective/s:A group of 50 students along with 05 faculty members attended ANSYS training programme held at JECRC during 05-07 March, 2017.

SAE Convention (North India)

Objective/s:A group of 83 students along with 3 faculty members participated in SAE Convention held at Manipal University on 28th Jan, 2017.
