Department of Information Technology provides Outcome-Based Education (OBE) which is a student-centric teaching and learning methodology in which the course delivery, assessment are planned to achieve stated objectives and outcomes. The Department of Information Technology is striving hard towards the goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standard to achieve academic excellence and provides platform for the students to achieve their career goals. We strongly encourage innovation in research, in teaching and in service to the profession, the local community and industry.

Our faculty and students are constantly striving to excel and to advance the state of the art in Information Technology. The department has a team of highly experienced and motivated faculty members who are in process of tuning the young minds to make them globally competitive. The strength of the department is highly motivated students who understand the dynamics of the industry and upgrade their skills accordingly. Through innovative teaching-learning process a teamwork approach and leadership building experience, our students gain vital communication and critical-thinking skills. Our faculty members aim at delivering top class education blending their rich research experience with classroom teaching. The department motivates the staff members to pursue higher studies and encourage them to attend conferences, workshops and publish papers in national / international conferences/journals. The department gives exposure to its students, about regular engineering curriculum as well as prepare them to face the challenges of today's corporate world, by inculcating a professional attitude in them. The department is proud of running various international certification programs such as Red hat, Salesforce, IOT and Machine learning and Remote Process Automation. The department organizes number of workshops, seminars and guest lectures by inviting reputed experts from industry and academia. The long term objective of the department is to contribute in the research and consultancy projects from Government & Non-Government Organizations.
